>> Th-Asylum texture set I've
been working on a texture set for a level idea I had for Thievery. Haven't
had the time to actually put much pen to paper on the level but I've already
cranked out about 30 textures for it. Maybe someone else on the team wants
to use 'em? Hint: the level takes place in an insane asylum. Similar to
Cragscleft in Thief - one of your debtors has recently been committed
to the asylum after acquired a reputedly cursed (but valuable) torc. Get
it back.
Ah, corroded metal and Victorian wall coverings. Perfect together :). Here's a few others in link form. When the pack is decent I'll post it as zipped TGA's and a .UTX package. >> It Came from the Vault! Hey, here's the noseart from my beloved B-17, Goodbye Mr. Hitler.
I did a bunch of these for people back when I was in my B-17 II playing days. I tried to make them feel 'rough' by not always keeping in the lines and using a lot of brushstrokes to fill in colours and shading. The 'GBMH' was my pick though, I though it captured the essence of WWII crew art. :) Speaking
of B-17 II and the magnificent/disasterous game it was, If you've ever
wanted to modify your bomber/crew jackets/crew photos but haven't the
foggiest how to go about it, I made a 'Customisation Kit' just for you.
Grab it here - B17 Customisation Kit >> The Camera Drone Well, I finally completed this little guy. It's a device I designed to fit into a Jules Vernes/Steampunk game I was working on. I recently found my sketchbook full of manic drawings and concept progressions and decided to make the Drone in Max 4.0, partly so people could use it, and partly to try Chilliskinner on a more advanced model. I kept it under 1000 polys [it weighs in at about 625 I think] so it would be light enough to use in a game engine [could be a fun UT or Q3 skin when animated] or similar. You can download the whole kaboodle here: Cam_Drone.zip Here
are some renders and the original sketches [check out the first one -
what the hell was I thinking? It's like some kind of Gothic lunar lander] ...........
